Brief history

Excellence in the tradition started in 1987 when Educational Medical, Inc. purchased three Maric Colleges who were a group of career colleges. Training in the paramedical fields offered by the college in Southern California. Educational Medical, Inc. changed its name to Quest Education Corporation in 1998. Kaplan bought the company in 2000 and renamed Kaplan Higher Education Corporation in 2002. 30 schools in eleven states operate within the corporation.

Campus

Bakersfield, Modesto, Fresno, North Hollywood, North County, Palm Springs, Panorama City, Riverside, Sacramento, Stockton, and San Diego campus locations. Nine Associate degree and certificate programs offered by the campus for students at this time. Maric College campuses are located at 3666 Kearny Villa Rd Ste 100 San Diego, CA 92123, 9055 Balboa Avenue, Kearny Mesa, San Diego, CA 92123, and Grantsville, 6160 Mission Gorge Road, San Diego, CA 92120. Admission

Open admission policy is followed by the College. Dual credit, life experience, and advanced positions are accepted as admission credits. However, specific requirements for admission and eligibility criteria can the University website which provides comprehensive information to view.

Programs are also offered by the college art and design, interior design, computer degrees and diplomas, certificates of medical care, dental care, cardiac, vascular ultrasound, massage therapy and various other health courses. Additionally, the vocational college studies and investigations including criminal legal system.

Accreditation

Maric College – San Diego has been duly accredited by accreditation from the Commission of Primary and Secondary Schools Career Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is a nationally recognized accrediting agencies of the United States, recognized by the Ministry of Education.

Student Services

Maric College – San Diego offers corrective services, academic and career counseling, PT defraying the costs of work, career placement, and the library on the campus facilities for students. No Barding and lodging facilities are available.

Financial support

Maric College – San Diego offers a variety of scholarships for students and no fewer than 73 scholarships are available for students based on their suitability and requirements. Besides the traditional federal, state, local and institutional grants as well as student loans are also available in the college.
